Latics record their first League Two win since New Year’s Day as they battered Crawley Town and added three late goals in a 3-0 win.
Pete Wild’s starting eleven consisted of Iversen, Hamer, Clarke ©, Edmundson, Stott, Branger-Engone, Missilou, Maouche, Nepomuceno, Lang, Vera.
Latics had the first chance of the game as Tom Hamer’s cross found Callum Lang, and heist up Mohamed Maouche who forced a great stop from Crawley Town goalkeeper Glenn Morris.
George Edmundson’s effort was cleared in front of goal for Latics before Luke Gambin had an effort just over the bar as the sides went in level at half time.
Half-Time: Crawley Town 0-0 Oldham Athletic
On 56 minutes Ollie Palmer got on the end of Filipe Morais’ pass and lobbed Latics goalkeeper Daniel Iversen, but the ball bounced wide of the post.
Daniel Iversen produced a fantastic save to tip over a Panutche Camara effort over the bar before Latics took the lead.
But Latics broke the deadlock on the 74th minute when Johan Branger-Engone produced a superb free-kick from 25 yards (0-1).
