It's fair to say that Kylian Mbappe was not in the best of moods after suffering more heartbreak with Paris Saint Germain.

The star's time in the French capital is set to come to a disappointing end after the Parisians were knocked out of the Champions League semi finals by Borussia Dortmund, losing 1-0 in both legs.

After finding himself shut out by a resolute Dortmund defence over the two matches, Mbappe's miserable evening continued after the match.

Whilst speaking to the press, a journalist asked the 25-year-old who he would be supporting in the competition's second semi-final between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

With the forward set to leave the Ligue 1 champions at the end of the season, and Madrid his expected next destination, the reporter would have been hopeful of him dropping a hint on his future.

But the question proved to be the final straw for the Frenchman, who rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders, before walking away from the interview.

It is unsurprising that the World Cup winner was in no mood to discuss his future, as he prepares to bid farewell to his hometown club having failed to deliver a first ever Champions League title.

Mats Hummels' 50th-minute header saw Dortmund record a memorable win at the Parc des Princes to reach the final, after Niclas Fullkrug had given them the advantage in the first leg.

Mbappe himself was largely ineffective, hitting the bar late on as the Bundesliga side produced a disciplined performance which left PSG unable to score, despite recording 44 shots over the two games.

Luis Enrique's side rattled the woodwork on six occasions across the European tie, with Warren Zaire-Emery and Nuno Mendes also coming agonisingly close in the second half in Paris.

But it was ultimately Dortmund's night, who held on to reach a first European final in 11 years, sparking wild celebrations from the players.

Edin Terzic's team will face the winner of the second leg tie between Bayern and Madrid, who Mbappe refused to choose between.

The fixture is evenly poised heading into the decider after a 2-2 draw in Munich, with England stars Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane set to battle to face fellow countryman Jadon Sancho in the final at Wembley.
